Specifications:
Pefloxin is a member of the quinolones. It is a synthetic antimicrobial agent, which belongs to the generation of fluoroquinolones that has a broad spectrum of activity against most Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria and can be successfully used in a variety of infections. Pafloxin is a bactericidal compound because it inhibits the DNA synthesis of bacteria that need to copy and replicate the DNA necessary for the formation of bacteria.
INDICATIONS:
Pefloxin is increasingly used as a special veterinary preparation for the treatment of microbial infections, especially infections of the gastrointestinal tract and genitourinary system.
side effects:
It is not used for chicks during incubation
Dosage and usage:
Pigeons: Put 5 drops in the mouth of the pigeon daily for two days, or 10 ml of Pefloxin liquid in 1 liter of water.
Birds: put 3 drops in 30 ml of drinking water for two days. In case of infection with salmonella: it should be used daily for five days instead of two days
